Ah...just imagining the rush as certain people flood to see what the internet 'thinks' of them.
This is ART not LIFE, remember

So says the blurb, and from a very quick play....I think our College staff might be able to use this one. Let's see how the IT dept take to installing it on the staff machines!!!!
It seems simple to use, and works the right way round, ie design the learning first, then create the learning object.

Good ole Auntie Beeb is opening her doors to make learning resources created from BBC resources accessble to the community, and encouraging collaboration and all good stuff that comes from that.
I just hope that this does not become too one way, ie busy teachers going to the site to take take take, and not having the time to give something back, or find a colleague to collaborate with to make something exciting and new. I'll be watching this site with great interest...and sadly to say, I bet it is schools rather than colleges who are the main contributors...fingers crossed I'm proven wrong!

How excellent is MobyPicture. My partner in Crime GJDay just sent me this link. It has great potential for collecting evidence of learning and sending it somewhere useful. Great for mobile learning...and looks super fun for play time too...thanks GJ

Steve Wheeler's Learning with 'e's blog is a great place for trainee teachers ( and old hands) who want to get their teeth into some of the key pedagogic issues around teaching and learning with technology.

We've had success using this mind mapping site at College with our trainee teacher programme. it's easy to use and stimulates collaboration. 42 is certainly the answer. Let's just hope it remains a free web tool for a good while longer!
Hey teachers...click on the mind 42 link above and sign up for an account, it's so quick and easy. You and your students will have access to your mind maps from any internet connected device.
